## What Neurobird Vehicle Repossession does

- Hold every assignment from every lender portal on one board with one status vocabulary
- Capture condition photos and personal property inventory at the moment of recovery, timestamped
- Track the notice and redemption clock so a disposition is not challenged later
- Bill and close assignments from the same record the field is already updating

## How it works

1. **One board across lenders** Assignments from every portal and forwarder land on one board with one status vocabulary, so the day is planned once.
2. **Evidence captured at the curb** Condition photos, plate and VIN, and a personal property inventory are captured timestamped at recovery, not typed up that night.
3. **Clocks that do not slip** Notice, redemption and storage clocks run per assignment, so disposition happens on a defensible timeline.

## Questions

### What is vehicle repossession?

Vehicle repossession is a secured creditor taking back collateral after default. Under UCC section 9-609 a creditor may repossess without a court order only if it proceeds without breach of the peace, and section 9-611 requires notification before the vehicle is disposed of. The mechanics differ by state but that framework is close to universal.

### What is breach of the peace?

The line that stops a self help recovery. It is deliberately not defined by a fixed list, so it turns on facts: confrontation, a locked garage, a threat, an argument at the scene. It is the single largest legal exposure in the trade, and it is decided on evidence captured in about 90 seconds at the curb.

### Why does personal property matter so much?

Because the lender bought the collateral, not the contents. Personal property has to be inventoried, stored and returned, and a missing item is a complaint that arrives weeks later with no photograph to answer it.

### Does this replace lender assignment portals?

No. Lenders keep their portals. This gives you one board across all of them, one status vocabulary, and the field evidence attached where you can find it 8 months later.
